This is a translation of the Danish original. If the two differ, the Danish text applies.
Still being built: e-invitation.dk is a new business that we are still developing, so these terms may change along the way. Changes only apply to new agreements: your order follows the terms that applied when you accepted the order confirmation.
1. The business
e-invitation.dk
Owner: Memo S
Address: 2980 Kokkedal
Email: kontakt@e-invitation.dk
2. The service
We make personal digital invitations: a web page with an animated envelope and your texts, which you receive as a link and share with your guests yourself, for example via WhatsApp, text message or email. What is included depends on the package and is described in our price list and the order confirmation.
RSVP and a photo gallery that guests can use themselves are not offered yet. They are not part of the packages until they appear in the price list.
3. Prices
All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and are final prices. The final price for your order, including any extras, is stated in the order confirmation. There are no subscriptions or hidden fees.
4. Request and agreement
Sending a request is free and without obligation. We then email you an order confirmation with the task, the price, the number of rounds of changes, the delivery time, the payment terms and how long the invitation stays online. The agreement is made when you have accepted the order confirmation.
5. Delivery
The delivery time is agreed individually and confirmed in writing in the order confirmation, before you commit. Once we have your details, we send a draft for your approval. If details, material or answers arrive later than agreed, delivery may be delayed accordingly.
The invitation is delivered when you have approved it and we have sent the final link.
We translate extra languages with AI. Please read the translation when you approve the draft; the approved text is the one that is used.
You are responsible for the details in the invitation (names, dates, addresses etc.) being correct, and for having the right to use the texts, images and logos you send us.
6. Revisions and changes
- Included: each package includes a number of rounds of changes (Basis 2, Business 2, Custom 3). A round of changes is one combined list of changes to a draft, which we then make in one go.
- Our own mistakes are always corrected free of charge and don't count as a round.
- Extra rounds of changes cost DKK 50 per round.
- Larger changes outside the agreed task (e.g. another design, new sections, more languages or a new text after approval) are quoted first. We only start once you have accepted the price.
- Changes after delivery (e.g. a new time or address) count as a round of changes. If you have used your rounds, they cost the same as extra rounds.
7. Payment
Payment terms are agreed for each order and stated in the order confirmation. We may agree that you pay a deposit or the full amount before we start. The finished invitation goes live once it has been paid, unless agreed otherwise.
At the moment you pay by invoice; the payment deadline and method are on the invoice. We are working on accepting MobilePay and card payments as well. Once that is possible, it will say so here and in the order confirmation.
8. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, counted from the day the agreement is made. The right of withdrawal does not apply to businesses.
If we are to start within the 14 days: We only start before the period ends if you expressly ask us to when you accept the order confirmation, and at the same time acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends once the invitation is finished and delivered. If you don't want that, we wait until the period has ended. This means:
- The right of withdrawal ends once the invitation is finished and delivered.
- If you withdraw while we are working on the invitation, you pay a proportionate part of the price for the work done until you told us.
- If you did not expressly ask us to start, you pay nothing if you withdraw within the period.
How to withdraw: send us a clear message at kontakt@e-invitation.dk before the deadline. You may use the form below, but you don't have to. If you have already paid (e.g. a deposit), we refund the amount minus the work done no later than 14 days after receiving your message, using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise.
Model withdrawal form
(complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract)
To: kontakt@e-invitation.dk
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: ………
Contract made on: ………
Name of consumer: ………
Address of consumer: ………
Date: ………
9. Cancellation
Even where the right of withdrawal doesn't apply (e.g. for businesses, or after the 14 days), you can cancel until the invitation has been delivered. Write to us. You then pay for the work done up to the cancellation, but never more than the agreed price, and we refund anything you paid beyond that. After delivery there is no refund, but we are happy to take the invitation offline if you wish.
If the event is moved, we update the invitation as a round of changes (see section 6). If we can't deliver as agreed ourselves, we tell you as soon as possible. You can then cancel and get back everything you paid.
10. Complaints about errors
If there is a mistake in the delivered invitation, contact us as soon as possible and we will correct it free of charge. As a consumer, your statutory rights under the Danish Sale of Goods Act apply.
11. How long the invitation stays online
The invitation stays online from delivery until 1 month after the event, in every package. There is no limit to how many guests can open it, or how often. If you would like it online for longer, it costs DKK 50 per extra month. Please write to us before the period ends.
When the period ends: We take the invitation offline, and the link then shows a page saying it doesn't exist. We keep a copy in our private archive for up to 12 months, so we can put it back online if you wish. After that we delete the copy and the material you sent us for the invitation (texts, images and logos). You can always ask us to delete it sooner. The invoice is kept as an accounting record (see the privacy policy).
12. Personal data about others
The invitation may include names and pictures of people other than you, such as hosts, children or guests. Make sure they are happy with it, and only send the details that should appear in the invitation. We only use them for your invitation, and not for our own marketing without your written consent.
Business customers: When we process personal data about your guests or employees on your behalf, we are your data processor (Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation). We only process the data on your instructions and for your invitation, keep it confidential and protect it. We use Cloudflare and GitHub as sub-processors to show and store the invitation, help you respond to data subjects' requests, and delete the data when the agreement ends (see section 11). If you would like a separate data processing agreement, write to us.
How we handle your data: see our privacy policy.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy, please write to us first at kontakt@e-invitation.dk and we will find a solution. If we can't agree, consumers can complain to the Danish Board of Appeals, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark, naevneneshus.dk.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms while we develop the business. The date at the top shows the latest change. Changes don't apply to agreements already made.
