Hi, I'm Memo
I'm a developer and work full time in IT. e-invitation.dk is what I build in my spare time, because I love making things that people actually use, and every invitation is a chance to make something a little better than the last one.
It started with invitations I made for friends. The way their guests reacted gave me the idea to offer the same to anyone who wants something similar. I design and code every invitation myself, so when you write to us, it's me who answers.
Why a digital invitation?
A digital invitation can be used in many ways. Some send it as their only invitation, others as a digital companion to a printed one. Either way, your guests always have it on their phone: they can find the venue, check the time and programme, or save the day in their calendar with one tap.
And most of all, it's different from the usual way of inviting people, which is often exactly what people like about it.
Between paper and screen
In my own Turkish culture, a printed invitation in an envelope is almost a must. Many of the people I've made invitations for did both: they hand-delivered printed invitations to family and friends, and shared the digital one as well.
I see it as a transition from paper to digital, and a big change like that takes time. That's why the envelope is at the heart of my designs: realistic envelopes you open on the screen, so the invitation feels familiar and new at the same time.

- Ready-made examples that show what's possible and can be adapted to you.
The only real limit is imagination, so feel free to ask for something you haven't seen here.
Small, and honest about it
e-invitation.dk is a sole proprietorship in its early days. It doesn't have a CVR number yet: in Denmark, a business only has to register for VAT (moms), and get a CVR number, once its sales pass 50,000 kr. in 12 months. That is also why I don't charge VAT.
For you as a customer, this changes nothing. You buy from me, Memo S, and you have all your usual rights as a consumer, including the right of withdrawal and the right to complain, as described in the terms of sale. When the business grows past the limit, I'll register a CVR number and show it here.
